A-Level Technician

Main Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance inspections.
• Visually inspect fluids, belts, and other components to determine if they need replacement.
• Accept guidance from peers and ask for assistance when needed, with a focus on advancing skills in electrical and emissions diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and job-related documentation.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
• Follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform basic services such as fluid flushes, brake jobs, shocks, oil changes, etc., without assistance.
• Pull and diagnose codes accurately.
• Accurately diagnose most customer vehicle concerns.
• Assist team members when and where needed.
• Perform most repairs, both minor and major (e.g., replacing motors, injectors, transmissions, turbos, etc.), with minimal assistance.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an automotive technician, with expertise in gas, diesel, and RV drive trains.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced diagnostics, including electrical and emissions systems.
• Certifications: ASE or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Tools: Must have a personal set of tools suitable for the role.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Teamwork: Willingness to assist colleagues and collaborate in a team setting.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and delivering high-quality repairs.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to accurately diagnose and resolve vehicle issues.
• Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is required.
